Before contacting support
- Confirm the format is listed in Settings → Supported File Types.
- Open the file again through Android's system picker.
- Check free storage and try Save As with a new name.
- For protected files, enter only a password you are authorized to use.
Troubleshooting
Most failures fall into a few categories: an unsupported or private source, an unstable transfer, insufficient storage, or a codec the destination cannot play.
If a local file is rejected, confirm that the extension matches its actual type and try a smaller known-good sample. Refresh the page, then test another modern browser. If a public address fails, verify that the complete address opens without a private login, copied surrounding text or an expired temporary token.
A file may be valid but unsupported by one player. Test it with a current media player and inspect its video and audio codecs. Missing sound can indicate an unsupported audio stream; a black screen can indicate unsupported video hardware decoding. Converting to MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio is the most widely compatible fallback.
Useful support details include operating system, browser family, screen size, language and time zone. They describe the environment but do not diagnose a problem by themselves.
